Services and Responsibilities:

  • Full range of law enforcement services for Swift 县.
  • Patrol-based services, including traffic law enforcement; general calls for service; investigate motor vehicle accidents.
  • Enforce boating regulations throughout the 县 and investigate drownings.
  • Provide crime prevention and education services to the general public.
  • Provide investigative services and preparation for prosecution by the 县 律师 for felony-level crimes including death investigations, 青少年的问题, drug investigations, 福利欺诈.
  • Responsible for Civil Process, orders of the Court, and all arrest warrants issued by the Court.
  • Investigate child protection cases jointly with Swift 县 OD体育app买球.
  • Responsible for telecommunications including 911 emergency calls and dispatching all emergency and non-emergency law enforcement, fire and EMS services within Swift 县.
  • Responsible for court security.
  • Responsible for the transportation of committed patients and prison­ers.
  • Responsible for the administration and operation of the 县 jail.
  • Provide assistance to other law enforce­ment agencies in the 县.
  • Support the efforts of the 县 Emergency Manager.
  • Provide law enforcement services under contract to the 克尔霍芬市 and Murdock.

  • 2 part‑time Bailiff/Transport Officers
